JUDAEA, Neapolis. Philip I. AD 244-249. Æ 28mm (23.48 g, 12h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Cybele seated left on throne, holding tympanum or xoanan, and scepter; at feet, recumbent lion left on either side; Mt. Gerizim to left. SNG ANS 1013 (same obv. die); Rosenberger -. VF, brown patina, light earthen deposits. Very rare and heavier than the ANS specimen.
